Untitled Art has always been one of my favorite breweries for non-alcoholic beers, and I’ve been impressed with most of their NA beers (including their Juicy IPA and Italian Pilsner).

Their non-alcoholic beers have consistently impressed me with their rich flavors and hoppy profiles. The body and mouthfeel consistently deliver a satisfying experience without feeling watery.

For a deeper dive into what I think about Untitled Art’s limited release NA sour, wheat ale – the Berliner Weisse – check out my detailed review below.

Untitled Art Berliner Weisse Review

Looks

Untitled Art Berliner Weisse pours a yellow color with a fair amount of cloudiness. It has a medium carbonation and a two-finger white foam head with poor retention.

Aroma

On the nose, I find the aroma to be malty and dank grassiness, almost like a wet basement but not in a gross way. There is also some tropical fruits come through as well, with a bit of pineapple and mango notes.

Taste

The taste is a good balance of sour, wheat, grass, and light malt sweetness. The hop bitterness is very low and barely noticeable.

As you might expect from a Berliner Weisse, it has a light and crisp body that does not taste watery.

On the mouthfeel, there is not much carbonation for a Berliner Weisse-style beer, but it did not bother me.

The finish is refreshingly tart with a slightly sour lemon note.

Final Verdict of My Untitled Art Berliner Weisse Review

For me, a good Berliner Weisse beer should taste sour, light, tart, and crisp. Untitled Art Berliner Weisse hits all these notes for me, except it is a little sweeter than a typical Berliner Weisse.

I found this non-alcoholic beer to be very drinkable and great for a hot summer’s day. It feels like the kind of NA beer that is very accessible to those who are new to sour beers.

Great For:

  • If you’re looking for an alcohol-free Berliner Weisse option

Not Recommended For:

  • Those who wouldn’t like some sweetness in their Berliner Weisse beer
