Looking for the best non-alcoholic sparkling wine to celebrate a special milestone or just as a weekend treat?
After tasting tens of non-alcoholic wines over the past few years, I have noticed that non-alcoholic sparkling wines have come a long way in terms of taste, quality, and variety.
Gone are the days of dull, overly sweet, and lackluster non-alcoholic bubbly. Below, I share my favorite non-alcoholic sparkling wines that have impressed me with their taste, body, and mouthfeel.
Best Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wines
- The best non-alcoholic champagne that I have tasted so far is Noughty Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Chardonnay.
- If you’re looking for a dry and tart sparkling wine, then I recommend trying Leitz 0.0% Sparkling Riesling.
- For a semi-sweet sparkling wine, I like the balanced sweetness of Vinada Amazing Airen Gold Sparkling Wine.
My Favorite: Thomson & Scott Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay
This organic sparkling Chardonnay is crafted by London-based winery Thomson & Scott, using Chardonnay grapes from vineyards in Southern Spain.
The first thing I love about this non-alcoholic sparkling wine is the classy bottle, which is great when I’m bringing it to a dinner party.
I love that it is not too sweet, and there is depth to the flavor, unlike many non-alcoholic sparkling wines that taste like sweetened grape juice.

Best Tart Sparkling: Leitz 0.0% Sparkling Riesling
Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling Riesling is made in Germany, and this non-alcoholic wine has a well-balanced but tart flavor profile.
I liked the fresh apple notes in this sparkling Riesling, although the sourness might be a little too much for those who like a sweeter palate.

FRE Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Brut
Fre Sparkling Brut is a vegan non-alcoholic sparkling wine produced in the Napa Valley of California.
This sparkling wine is for those who like their bubbly sweet, because I find it to be sweeter than the typical Brut style. If you prefer dry sparkling wines, this will be too sweet for your liking.
On the palate, I think it does come a little close to tasting like a glass of sparkling apple cider, so this non-alcoholic sparkling wine would be a perfect choice for those who enjoy the crispness of apples in their wine.

Surely Wines Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Brut
Surely’s non-alcoholic sparkling brut wine is made from Californian grapes, and I find it well carbonated, dry, and tart.
I enjoy the flavors too, even though I find that it has more citrus notes than traditional champagne, and some additional notes of pear and peach.
Overall, this is a great non-alcoholic sparkling wine to drink chilled. I’ve already had several bottles of Surely NA sparking white brut, and my friends seem to enjoy it as well.

Vinada Amazing Airen Gold Sparkling Wine
This is the only non-alcoholic sparkling wine on this list made with Airen grape variety, and this NA wine is made from Airen grapes harvested in Spain’s winemaking La Mancha region.
Upon first sip, I was greeted with notes of citrus, apples, and a touch of grapes. It is not an entirely dry sparkling wine, but the sweetness feels mild and almost just a hint.

Freixenet 0.0
We tried this Spanish alcohol-free sparkling wine on a New Years Eve, and it was a delightful way to end the year.
One of the first things that caught our eye is the elegant bottle packaging of Freixenet’s 0.0 Alcohol-Free Sparkling wine. The transparent white bottle looks sleek and stylish, and it reminds us of classy alcoholic sparkling wines.
This non-alcoholic sparkling wine leans towards a sour and acidic profile, so it not for those who prefer sweeter non-alcoholic sparkling wines.

What sets this non-alcoholic sparkling wine apart is not just its taste but also its vegan, halal, and low-calorie credentials, making it a guilt-free and inclusive choice for wine enthusiasts.
It is made from Italian Pinot Grigio grapes with notes of pear and citrus, and it has a medium-body wine with an extra-dry taste.

Semblance Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Wine
This crisp, dry sparkling non-alcoholic Chardonnay made with Chardonnay grapes from California is simply delicious, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Firstly, I appreciate that this non-alcoholic Chardonnay is dry and not too sweet. It is fruity and bubbly, and it almost reminds me of a traditional Prosecco.

Jøyus Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine
California’s Jøyus Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine has a bronze model from a prestigious wine competition, and I can see why.
One of the first things that I liked about this non-alcoholic sparkling wine is the crisp and lively palate, with lots of green apple and melon flavor notes that add a delightful complexity to the wine.
The mouthfeel feels good too, with just the right amount of carbonation.

Oddbird Sparkling Rosé
This French non-alcoholic sparkling rosé wine is made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France.
The flavor profile feels harmonious with notes of berries, zesty citrus, and crisp Granny Smith apples.
It is also not too sweet or too tart, and I find it to be well-balanced between sweetness and acidity. It is not overly sweet, which allows the natural flavors of the grapes to shine through.
Order from non-alcoholic drink retailers Boisson (within the United States) or ZeroZilchZip (within the UK).
Conclusion
I get asked often which type of non-alcoholic wine best replicates regular wine, and I have found non-alcoholic sparkling wine to be the closest.
Replicating the distinctive taste and complexity of alcohol in wine poses a considerable challenge, and the effervescence in non-alcoholic sparkling wines helps to compensate for the absence of body and depth, creating an improved mouthfeel.
