After trying multiple Untitled Art non-alcoholic beers like their Juicy IPA, Berliner Weisse, and the West Coast IPA and being very impressed with the flavors, I’m excited to try their Italian Pilsner.

Brewed in Waunakee, Wisconsin, this non-alcoholic beer is supposed to have the characteristics of a classic Pilsner but with hoppier aroma and flavors from the Hallertau Mittelfruh and Strata hops.

Since I’m a huge Pilsner drinker, let’s see what I think about this beer in this Untitled Art Italian Pilsner review.

Untitled Art Italian Style Pils

Untitled Art Italian Pilsner Review

Looks

Pouring into a glass, it has a clear golden yellow color that reminds me of a typical Pilsner. It has a thick white foam head with great retention, which I was not expecting for a Pilsner.

Aroma

On the nose, I can smell a strong citrus orange, some floral notes, and a light malt aroma as the backbone. It has a classic Pilsner aroma with the addition of citrus hop notes, and it smells a lot better than many non-alcoholic Pilsners that smell either too worty or bland.

Taste

Here, I can taste the classic Pilsner taste, but it has been elevated with the taste of the hops coming through.

Just like the aroma, I can taste the malts supported by light citrus orange and some grassy hop notes. There is also some light spiciness and a strong hop bitterness that overpowers the light sweet malt undertones.

The body is light-medium, and the mouthfeel is dry, crisp, and well carbonated. The finish is dry with some hop bitterness at the end of each sip.

Despite the presence of the hops, I wouldn’t call it an IPA because it still feels very much like a Pilsner.

Untitled Art Italian Pilsner Ingredients

Untitled Art does not share the list of ingredients on the can label, but they do share that they use Hallertau Mittelfruh and Strata hops.

Final Verdict Of Our Untitled Art Italian Pilsner Review

This has got to be one of the best tasting non-alcoholic Pilsners we’ve tried, and we’ve tried plenty!

The body feels fuller when compared to other NA Pilsners, and the hop notes come through strongly while closely resembling the classic clean and crisp Pilsner characteristics.

This is a real solid non-alcoholic beer option that I’ll be stocking up on.

Good For:

  • Those who want the Pilsner experience but with more hops

Not Recommended For:

  • If you are looking for the classic Pilsner taste
