I’ve been eyeing the non-alcoholic West Coast IPA from Untitled Art after their non-alcoholic Juicy IPA left me starstruck, and their non-alcoholic Lychee Sherbet was equally tasty. This is a brewery that tops the list as one of my favorites.
This time, I’m expecting a bold hops-forward IPA with lots of bitterness and citrus notes.
Read on as I explore its taste, aroma, and overall drinking experience in this Untitled Art non-alcoholic West Coast IPA review.
A Quick Look Untitled Art Non-Alcoholic West Coast IPA
Founded in 2016 in Wisconsin as an experimental side-project, Untitled Art brewery has since created over 177 different releases in less than five years and is distributed in roughly 23 states and Europe.
As part of Untitled Art’s non-alcoholic core lineup, Untitled Art non-alcoholic West Coast IPA is an alcohol-free West Coast IPA modeled after Untitled Art’s alcoholic West Coast IPA.
Traditionally, West Coast IPAs are dry and have a hop-forward aroma and lots of hop bitterness, with lots of citrus and piney flavor and aroma notes.
The malts take a backstage role, and the finish is dry to allow the different layers of hops to take center stage.
This style makes it the ideal beer style for those who like really bitter beers.
Untitled Art Non-Alcoholic West Coast IPA Review
Looks
This non-alcoholic West Coast IPA pours a hazy golden amber color with a thick white foam head that had a good retention and lacing around the glass.
Aroma
On the nose, I could smell a pronounced biscuit malt aroma that is supported by notes of grass, citrus, slight lemon, and lots of pine.
It smells earthy, resiny, and malty, and it reminds me of an old school West Coast IPA beer.
Taste
On first sip, I want to say that it reminded me of drinking iced tea with a bold pine flavor.
The dominant notes of floral hops, pineapple, and mango reminded me of a tropical fruit essence, while the hop bitterness remained subdued, and the malt sweetness was not overpowering.
This non-alcoholic West Coast IPA packs a lot of flavors for a 0.5% ABV beer, and the mouthfeel feels fuller than many watery and thin non-alcoholic beers I’ve tried.
Untitled Art Non-Alcoholic West Coast IPA Ingredients
Untitled Art non-alcoholic West Coast IPA is unsurprisingly brewed with Cascade, Centennial, and Simcoe hops, which gives it the classic West Coast IPA resiny and citrus aromas and flavors.
Final Verdict Of My Untitled Art Non-Alcoholic West Coast IPA Review
While I found this non-alcoholic West Coast IPA to be drinkable and satisfying, this is not my favorite Untitled Art non-alcoholic beer. That title still belongs to the non-alcoholic Juicy IPA (check out my review of Untitled Art non-alcoholic Juicy IPA here).
I also found this West Coast IPA to be less true to style with its light bitterness and malt-forward notes, as I had expected a lot more hop bitterness and hop flavors to come through.
To be fair, it does have lots of the huge citrus and tropical fruits hop aroma and flavors.

This non-alcoholic West Coast IPA hits the mark with its tropical fruitiness and bold citrus notes, however it lacks the bitter punch I was seeking for a beer of this style.
