Founded in 2017, Mingle Mocktails is a brand of alcohol-free mocktails based off popular cocktail flavors like Bellini, Cosmo, and Margarita.

Crafted from fruit juices and organic cane sugar, each mocktail flavor is versatile – whether used as a mixer or enjoyed on the rocks as a standalone mocktail.

Let’s dive into this Mingle Mocktails review for my tasting notes and find out if this is a drink you’ll enjoy.

Mingle Mocktails Cranberry Cosmo and Key Lime Margarita

Mingle Mocktails Review

Looks

Cranberry Cosmo: It pours a clear, reddish pink. It has medium carbonation with tiny bubbles

Key Lime Margarita: It pours a clear, very light yellow color. It has medium carbonation with tiny bubbles.

Aroma

Cranberry Cosmo: Smells like cranberry juice, although more of a subtle scent. I can also detect a hint of lime.

Key Lime Margarita: The smell of lime comes through most strongly, but the aroma is still really subtle. I had to really get my nose in to sniff this mocktail.

So far, both flavors have very subtle aromas.

Taste

Cranberry Cosmo:

Tastes like fizzy cranberry juice. That said, I’d like it to be fizzier with more carbonation.

It is a bit sour as you might expect from cranberry juice, but not sour enough to make your lips pucker.

Overall, the mouthfeel tasted quite flat for my liking.

Key Lime Margarita:

If you love the taste of lime, you’ll go gaga over this mocktail. It 100% tastes like key limes.

The flavor is citrus-y, but also sweeter than standard limes.

Again, I’d like this one to be a bit fizzier, but overall it is pleasant to drink.

Mingle Mocktails Ingredients

Cranberry Cosmo: Carbonated water, pure cane sugar, cranberry juice concentrate, orange juice concentrate, natural flavors, key lime juice concentrate, and citric acid.

Key Lime Margarita: Carbonated water, pure cane sugar, natural flavors, key lime juice concentrate, orange juice concentrate, citric acid, and salt.

Mingle Mocktails Calories

Cranberry Cosmo: A 12oz serving has 60 calories and 13 grams of carbohydrates, of which 11 grams are added sugar.

Key Lime Margarita: A 12oz serving has 50 calories and 12 grams of carbohydrates, of which 11 grams are added sugar.

Final Verdict of My Mingle Mocktails Review

Of the two flavors, I enjoyed the Key Lime Margarita more than the Cranberry Cosmo.

I appreciate that the Cranberry Cosmo wasn’t too sweet or sour and didn’t leave a film on my teeth like cranberry-based drinks tend to do. However, I still don’t love it. It’s just not my type of drink.

A little more carbonation would have improved the mouthfeel, and I would cut down on the sourness of the cranberries. If I were to drink this again, I would probably dilute it with a seltzer or use it as a mixer with a non-alcoholic spirit.

I also appreciate that they used natural ingredients and real sugar. However, at 12 grams per serving, this isn’t a mocktail I’d reach for on a regular basis.

For the Key Lime Margarita, I favored it mainly because I like lime-flavored drinks more. Like the Cosmo, I found this to be lacking in carbonation.

It is also sweeter than drinks I would usually go for, but it wasn’t so sweet that I would dump it out. Key Lime Margarita doesn’t really remind me of a margarita, but I’m okay with that because I’ve never really been a fan of margaritas.

Lastly, I like that Mingle Mocktails is a female-owned company.
