What is Partake Brewing Peach Gose?

Partake Brewing Peach Gose is a non-alcoholic Gose beer which balances sweet and spicy with notes of coriander, sea salt, and natural peach flavor. According to Partake Brewing, this Gose beer will remind you of summer with its flavors.

So what is a Peach Gose beer? Peach Gose is a German style wheat beer that originated from the Leipzeg region. Gose beer is famous for its salty flavor – which comes from the local water sources or by adding salt, which helps to balance the tartness of the beer and the malt sweetness.

Gose beers traditionally do not have prominent hop bitterness, aroma, or flavors, and we can expect a light body with salty and sour flavors.

Partake Brewing Peach Gose Ingredients

Partake Brewing Peach Gose is brewed with water, barley, wheat, coriander, hops, natural flavoring, sea salt, and yeast.

While it is unclear what the natural flavoring Partake Brewing uses for its Peach Gose, Gose beers often use fruit-flavored syrups to counteract the sourness. That is why many Gose beers today have some fruit flavor.

Gose beers are also traditionally brewed using warm-fermenting yeast, which creates lactobacillus bacteria and gives the beer its trademark sour flavor. The coriander adds dryness and spice to the beer and a floral aroma.

Partake Brewing Peach Gose Calories

Partake Brewing Peach Gose Review

Looks & Aroma

The Peach Gose pours a clear, light golden color with lively carbonation. The one-inch white foam head quickly disappeared into a thin foam lace around the glass.

On the nose, I got aroma notes of peaches and sweetness like candy. I couldn’t really identify the spicy coriander notes.

Taste

This non-alcoholic Peach Gose has a very light body and a watery mouthfeel. The peach has a light sour note, but it is not as sour or tart as a Gose beer would usually taste. I did enjoy the touch of peach juice as it didn’t feel overwhelming.

The sea salt adds a hint of saltiness on the finish, while the medium carbonation gave it a refreshing taste and crispness on the palate.

Verdict – Is Partake Brewing Peach Gose Worth It?

Even though the Partake Brewing Peach Gose is not as sour or tart as I would have preferred in a Gose beer, it still tasted refreshing and delicious. The notes of peach were light enough to feel like you’re drinking a non-alcoholic beer with peach notes versus peach juice.

I really like this beer as a summer non-alcoholic beer because it is light, crisp, and effervescent while hitting the fruity summer notes. I can see myself buying and drinking this again – it just needs a little more maltiness and acidity to make this a five-star non-alcoholic beer.
